DENVER -- Matt Kemp and Josh Beckett made sure the Los Angeles Dodgers had plenty to celebrate heading into their showdown with the Detroit Tigers. Custom Milwaukee Bucks Jerseys . Kemp had four hits and drove in two runs, and Beckett tossed five scoreless innings and chipped in with a double as the Dodgers beat the Colorado Rockies 8-2 on Sunday. Adrian Gonzalez had three RBIs and Juan Uribe added three hits for the Dodgers, who won three of four in the weekend series. They head to AL Central-leading Detroit in first place in the NL West, a half-game ahead of San Francisco. "To win the first two and then lose yesterday, if you dont win today then youve had a negative series in my mind," manager Don Mattingly said. All-Star rosters were unveiled during the game, and the Dodgers were well-represented with four players. Right fielder Yasiel Puig was voted in as a starter, and second baseman Dee Gordon made it as a reserve. Starting pitchers Clayton Kershaw and Zack Greinke were also picked. "Im really excited I get to do it again, really excited for Puig and Dee, the first-time guys, and with Greinke," Kershaw said. "Ive never gotten to go with four of my own teammates before, so thats pretty cool." Beckett was left off the National League roster. Kershaw is a candidate to start the game, but said hes just happy to be going for the fourth time. "Id love to do it," Kershaw said. "Obviously, there are a ton of great candidates. Ill be fine either way. Definitely (would) be something cool to do." Colorado shortstop Troy Tulowitzki, an All-Star starter with an NL-best 5.3 million votes, scored both runs for the Rockies. Charlie Blackmon was named to the team as a reserve outfielder. "That has some extra meaning," Tulowitzki said. "A couple years Ive been chosen by the players and thats always an honour. This year the fans really stepped up and really supported me." Colorado was 26-20 on May 20 but has lost 17 of 20 to fall to within a half-game of last place in the NL West. The Rockies are 5-15 at Coors Field since June 3. Beckett (6-5) allowed three hits before leaving after aggravating his sore left hip while running the bases in the fifth. "It was the start and stop. I just kind of tweaked it," he said. Its been bothering me for a few weeks." Dodgers starters had gone 39 consecutive games with two or fewer walks allowed, but that streak ended when Beckett walked three. Hyun-Jin Ryu was the last Los Angeles starter to walk more than two when he had five on May 26. "I knew if it got to me it was going to end," Beckett said. "I dont have the stuff to pitch here and not peck around the strike zone." Beckett made up for ending the streak with a one-out double that started a five-run fifth. Gordon singled and Puig walked to load the bases. Gonzalez had a two-run single, Kemp followed with an RBI single and Scott Van Slyke walked. "Josh was good and gets us going with his bat," Mattingly said. "That double really gets us going." Uribe singled to third off reliever Brooks Brown, scoring Gonzalez on a play at the plate. Umpire Jeff Kellogg called Gonzalez out, but it was overturned after a review that took 1 minute, 28 seconds. Brown hit Miguel Rojas with a pitch to score Kemp and make it 5-0. "We swung the bats well, put up some runs for Beckett," Kemp said. "It was a good offensive series for us." Colorado left-hander Yohan Flande (0-2) allowed five runs in 4 1-3 innings. "He was throwing the ball well and then he ran into some trouble in the fifth," Rockies manager Walt Weiss said. "Until that point he had been pretty much cruising." The Rockies scored an unearned run in the sixth off reliever Chris Perez and another off Brian Wilson in the eighth. Kemps fourth hit of the day capped a three-run eighth that made it 8-1. Despite blasting a franchise record 30 shots at goal the Whitecaps were forced to settle for a 2-2 draw with FC Dallas in an entertaining Major League Soccer match Sunday afternoon. "It hurts like a loss," said Whitecaps goalkeeper David Ousted. "We deserved more out of this one. "The chances we are creating . . . we need to put the chances away and we need to be sounder (on defence) and not give away goals." Midfielder Pedro Morales salvaged the tie when he scored on a second-half penalty kick. The Whitecaps had an early lead but allowed Dallas to score goals 10 minutes apart. The Whitecaps went into the match hoping to use a home win to gain some ground in the tight MLS Western Conference standings. They improved their record to 6-4-10 for 28 points. The single point from the draw moved Vancouver into the fifth and final playoff spot in the West. A win would have lifted Vancouver into a tie for third. "Im disappointed we lost two points," said head coach Carl Robinson. "There was only one team that was going to win that game. "We switched off mentally twice. We are disappointed." Dallas improved its record to 8-7-5 for 30 points and is fourth in the West. Dallas coach Oscar Pareja was happy his team managed to extend its unbeaten streak to six games (3-0-3). "It was a very weird game because we could have won it at the end," said Pareja. "When you see the game you may say the first half we deserved to be leading. In the second half they deserved to tie the game. I have to give Vancouver credit." Forward Blas Perez, off a scramble in front of the Whitecaps net in the 29th minute, and Brazilian midfielder Michel, on a penalty kick in the 39th, scored for Dallas. Morales, on a penalty kick in the 53rd minute, and Darren Mattocks, with his third goal in as many games, scored for Vancouver. The Whitecaps have just one win in their last eight games and have managed three consecutive draws. Vancouvers 10 draws this season is the most in the Western Conference. The Chicago Fire, who the Whitecaps play on the road Wednesday, lead MLS with 11 draws. "Its a fine line between winning and losing," said Robinson. "We are that close but we are that far." A sellout crowd of 21,000 at BBC Place Stadium saw the Whitecaps press for the winning goal in the games final stages. Milwaukee Bucks Store. Dallas goalkeeper Raul Fernandez made several key stops to preserve the tie, including stopping Morales in the 88th minute and extra time. Morales led Vancouver with 12 shots on goal while Mattocks had nine. Mattocks missed a glorious chance in the 24th minute when an open net yawned in front of him but he fired the ball into the side of the goal. "It will haunt me for a bit," said Mattocks, who has scored in three consecutive games. "We are a good enough team to get three points. We have to bounce back." Mattocks was shown a yellow card in the 59th minute following a collision with Fernandez. Replays showed Mattocks shoe did touch Fernandez, who lay on the field, clutching his head. Robinson dished up some sarcasm when asked about Fernandez keeping Dallas in the match. "We rebounded very good after being kicked in the head," he said. "He made some unbelievable saves after that. Thats credit to him" Morales tied the game after Dallas midfielder Moises Hernandez was called for a hand ball. Dallas took the lead on Michels penalty kick after Vancouver defender Carlyle Mitchell was called for a hand ball. The awkward play came on a mix up when Ousted had called for a high, floating ball. A leaping Mitchell almost ran into the keeper, causing the ball to strike him. Ousted had words with Mitchell after. Mattocks opened the scoring in the 11th minute. The speedy Jamaican took a pretty feed from midfielder Gershon Koffie, outran a Dallas defender, and beat Fernandez with a low, hard shot. While Mattocks celebrated his fifth goal of the season, Fernandez tossed away the cap he had been wearing to keep the sun out of his eyes due to the roof being open at BC Place. Perez tied the match in the 29th minute. Midfielder Zach Loyd banged a header that hit the crossbar. The ball bounced to Perez who knocked it down with his chest then kicked it past Ousted. NOTES: Koffie picked up his first assist of the season on Mattocks goal. à Ousted has played every minute of the Whitecaps 20 games this season. à The Whitecaps had leads in their previous three games and won none of them. à The Whitecaps have allowed 11 goals in the final 15-plus minutes of games this year, the most in MLS. PHILADELPHIA -- A judge overseeing thousands of NFL concussion-linked lawsuits says lawyers are still working to address her concerns about a proposed $765 million fund. Cheap NHL Jerseys . U.S. District Judge Anita Brody says she fears the fund may not be large enough to cover up to 20,000 retired players for 65 years. Lawyers have given her more data to weigh since she rejected the deal on a preliminary basis in January. The judge says in a Thursday order the parties are continuing to work with the court "to address the issues." She also has clarified an order this week denying approval of the deal was not a new ruling. She says she was simply adding the January ruling to some case files. The judge is expected to hold hearings in the case this year. Wholesale NHL Jerseys . Even a draw would have moved the Kansas City club above Columbus.PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Terrell Suggs isnt one to get rattled. The Baltimore Ravens linebacker has made a career out of being the one who agitates, not the one who gets agitated. For a night anyway, the Pittsburgh Steelers found a way to reverse the roles.Ben Roethlisberger threw six touchdown passes and the Ravens lost their cool in a 43-23 loss on Sunday night. Baltimore turned it over twice, gave up four sacks and was flagged 10 times while losing its second straight. We didnt respond well when bad things started to happen, Suggs said. Weve got to be better. We cant be kidding ourselves anymore. We have a lot of work to do.Better get started soon. The Ravens (5-4) fell into last place in the crowded AFC North with the loss after it failed to sweep the season series from the surging Steelers (6-3), who have won three straight. Its frustrating anytime you lose and dont play the way you expect to play, but weve got to get over it and keep working on it, Baltimore wide receiver Torrey Smith said. Nobodys going to feel sorry for us.Certainly not Pittsburgh. The Ravens dominated the Steelers 26-6 in Week 2, emerging from a chaotic few days surrounding the release of running back Ray Rice by physically overwhelming the Steelers. This time, it was the other way around. Joe Flacco threw for 303 yards with two touchdowns and an interception but absorbed a series of shots from a relentless Pittsburgh pass rush. They come after you and you have to get the ball in someones hands, coach John Harbaugh said. You have to make a play to take them out of it. We didnt do enough to discourage that at all really at any point in the game. There were no such issues for Roethlisberger.A week after passing for a franchise-record six touchdowns against Indianapolis, Roethlisberger duplicated the feat to help Pittsburgh (6-3) win its third straight. Roethlisbergers 12 touchdown passes over the last two games broke the mark of 11 set by Tom Flores for Oakland in 1963 and matched by New Englands Tom Brady in 2007.Antonio Brown caught 10 passes for 138 yards and a score. Rookie Martavis Bryant hauled in two scoring receptions and has five touchdowns in three games. The renewal of one of the NFLs most physical rivalries traded its usual taut, low-scoring style for something decidedly more spectacular but no less physical. When Roethlisberger wasnt dissecting Baltimores depleted secondary with his expanding number of targetss, the teams were trading punches and penalties. NHL Jerseys China . Just not the lead, not after a resurgent Pittsburgh defence gave Roethlisberger all the momentum he would need to continue the finest stretch of his 11-year career. We took advantage of turnovers our defence gave us, Roethlisberger said. We were slow starting but made plays down the stretch. The Ravens were in front 7-0 midway through the second quarter and the Steelers were sputtering when a little vintage Pittsburgh defence — led by suddenly youthful 36-year-old linebacker James Harrison — turned the tide.Cornerback Brice McCain raced 26 yards following a Lorenzo Taliaferro fumble to set up a 5-yard touchdown pass from Roethlisberger to LeVeon Bell, and Jason Worilds picked off Flacco and returned it 30 yards to put Roethlisberger in position to find Bryant for a 19-yard score to put the Steelers up 14-7.The Ravens, playing without injured cornerback Jimmy Smith, simply couldnt keep up. Roethlisberger ended the half with a perfect 47-yard strike to Markus Wheaton.Even when things went wrong, they went right for Pittsburgh. The Steelers tacked on a 2-point conversion following Wheatons score when punter Brad Wing made up for a botched hold by scrambling to his right and connecting with tight end Matt Spaeth to make it 22-10 at the break.Rather than sit on the lead, the Steelers kept attacking. Roethlisbergers 25 completions went to eight different receivers, though he relied on an old one and his new favourite to help the Steelers end a pivotal three-game homestand with a perfect 3-0 record.Roethlisberger found Brown for a 54-yard catch-and-run early in the fourth quarter to make it 29-10. Jacoby Jones responded with a 108-yard kickoff return for a touchdown, but Roethlisberger then hit the 6-foot-4 Bryant for an 18-yard strike and capped another remarkable night with a 33-yard score to Spaeth with 1:51 remaining.I guess once you get in the groove it is what it is, Suggs said. He made some lays. His receivers made some plays for him. He played a phenomenal game.NOTES: Steelers S Troy Polamalu left with a sprained left knee in the second quarter and did not return. ... Baltimore TE Owen Daniels had six receptions for 53 yards a week after having minor knee surgery. ...
